Guided Hike to the Dwarf Pines

Join a Quogue Wildlife Refuge Educator for a guided hike to the ecologically rare dwarf pines ecosystem to beat the heat! Learn about native flora, fauna, and fire ecology. Round trip hike is approximately 3 miles and is on relatively flat terrain. Please apply any insect repellent and sunscreen prior to arrival, and wear sun protective clothing. $10 per person, $5 for QWR 2026 members. Space is limited.

Refund Policy: Program tickets are non-refundable unless we, Quogue Wildlife Refuge, cancel the program due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If you decide to cancel, your class fee will be donated to support our mission driven work at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.
